The Buenos Aires Ministry of Education reported this Friday that the school year for students of initial and primary schools will start on February 26 with the intention of reaching an "extended calendar of 191 days of classes", 11 more than the 180 mandatory. The announcement with a view to 2024 was communicated "this morning to teachers and families via email," said the educational portfolio headed by Minister Soledad Acuña. Specifically, students at the initial and primary level will begin classes early on February 26 and will end on December 20; while those of secondary school, in all its modalities, will start on March 4 after the exam tables. Secondary schools, in all their modalities, will start on March 4 after the exam tables "Teachers, for their part, will return to the classrooms on February 7 to plan, train and hold team meetings," they indicated. According to the schedule released, between July 16 and 26 there will be the school winter holidays and classes will end on December 20.
