Tandil prepares for the 5th edition of the "Salame and Pork Festival"

The event, whose origins date back to 2014, is characterized by exceeding in each edition the length of the popular chacinado, which is expected to reach 200 meters this weekend, coinciding with the second centenary of the Buenos Aires town.

The city of Tandil will host next weekend the 5th edition of the “Salame and Pork Festival” where it is expected to once again surpass the record for the longest salami with Designation of Origin in the world. The festival is organized by the Porcine Cluster in conjunction with the municipality of Tandil. In 2014, the five producing families that make up the Council of the Denomination of Origin presented the first longest salami that measured 16.1 meters
